Support Farms Sustainably With a Monthly Donation to FACT

We would not be able to do the work we do without the generous support of our donors. The impact of our supporters is felt across all layers of our organization, taking us closer to our vision that all food-producing animals will be raised in a humane and healthy manner, and everyone will have access to safe and humanely-produced food.

That’s why in this week’s blog I would like to talk more about FACT’s Regular Giving Program, which invites donors to make a recurring donation to FACT on a monthly basis.
Regular contributions to FACT offer sustainable progress on the issues of humane farming and safe and healthy food. Our community of monthly donors is vital to our work as they help us keep mailing costs down, so we can allocate more resources to protecting and nurturing your food, health, and community.
An ongoing monthly donation to FACT will:
Support farmers’ efforts to improve their pasture and thus the lives of their farm animals, through our Fund-a-Farmer Grants program.
Enable us to continue advocating for strong corporate and federal policies to make our food safer, including ending the overuse of antibiotics on farms.
Provide consumers with the information they need to navigate increasingly complicated food options and make beneficial choices.

An example of how this support is impacting farmers is N Bar A Ranch in Maine who were able to build a new cow shelter to protect their cows from inclement weather as a result of a Fund-a-Farmer grant from FACT. Owner Ashley Pairitz said, “The cattle being able to seek reliable and adequate shelter during chilling winds, sleet and snow has absolutely improved the wellbeing and welfare of our animals”.
