FACT’s Consumer Protection Lawsuit Against Wendy's is Resolved

FACT filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Wendy’s in September 2021, claiming that certain statements made by Wendy’s regarding sourcing of eggs were not accurate.

This case has now been resolved through mediation, and Wendy’s has agreed to remove or change certain statements on its website related to animal welfare to help clarify to its customers that the majority of Wendy's eggs are not sourced from cage-free facilities.
